Kensington PocketMouse Bluetooth

Features:
  • Optical, wireless mouse.
  • Two Buttons
  • Offers scrolling wheel
  • Compact size for travel ease
  • Interference-free operation for up
    to seven Bluetooth devices.
  • 30 ft range
The most common thing we hear about the Kensington PocketMouse Bluetooth is its very short battery life. With no on/off switch on this model, it’s no surprise that the batteries die quickly. We recommend getting rechargeable batteries if this is your mouse of choice. It is a very basic mouse with only 2 buttons and a scroll wheel.  It requires Windows XP or later, Macintosh OS X or later to operate this mouse.

The good thing about the Kensington PocketMouse Bluetooth is its ability to travel. Its compact size and carry bag travel case, which is included, makes this mouse a good fit for the person on the go.

Installation again is very easy with this product. You will need to have a Bluetooth USB Adapter or built-in Bluetooth capabilities for your computer to use this product.

Recommendation:  If you don’t mind the short battery life and travel a lot, this mouse would be a good fit for you. Don’t forget you will need a Bluetooth Adapter since one is not included.

Iogear Bluetooth Mini Mouse

Iogear Bluetooth Mini Mouse
Features:
  • Optical, wireless mouse
  • 800 dpi resolution (twice the accuracy of a typical mouse)
  • Light and portable
  • Comes with USB charger to allow
you to charge batteries through the laptop.
  • Power on/off switch
  • 66 ft range

There are a lot of features to like about the Iogear Bluetooth Mini Mouse. First, the size of it is a third of the size of a regular mouse. This makes it ideal for mobile computer users. The range of this tiny mouse also makes it worthwhile.  It can be used as far as 66 ft away from your computer. Even though the Iogear Bluetooth Mini Mouse is small in size, it doesn’t lack in features. It has three buttons and a scrolling wheel. It is well-built with sturdy buttons. The only problem that we find is that the battery compartment release and door do feel a little flimsy and seems like it may pop off at any moment. It will take time to get used to the small size but it is manageable.

Setup is also very easy with the Iogear mouse. It is compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled PC or Mac systems that support the HID profile.   The mouse comes with a USB charger to allow you to charge batteries through the laptop.  The Iogear Bluetooth Mini Mouse is also cheaper than most Bluetooth mice. It is worth more than it costs.

Recommendation: Cheaper than most Bluetooth mice, warrants a buy if you aren't looking to spend a lot of money on a mouse.
